If you want to delete your data from Sesame, you can do so at any time using one of the methods below.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
- Log in to your Sesame account.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Click "Delete Account".
- Confirm the deletion. All your data — including business information, catalog, messages, and connected social accounts — will be permanently removed.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Send an email to info@sesames.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
What data is deleted?
When you request deletion, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile information.
- Your business data (name, description, catalog, knowledge base).
- Connected social account tokens and conversation data.
- All generated content, branding templates, and media.
- AI reply logs and settings.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Data
When you disconnect or delete your account, we immediately revoke access to your Meta accounts and delete all stored Meta data (messages, conversations, page tokens). To also remove Sesame from your Facebook/Instagram connected apps:
- Go to your Facebook Business Integrations settings.
- Find "Sesame" and click Remove.
Processing Time
Data deletion is processed immediately for in-app requests. Email requests are processed within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes and cannot be linked back to you.
